Does that mean they are like the lights on a Christmas tree except opposite of all of them going out? When one Drej goes out, the others are alerted?

I have two thoughts, the first one, similar to my last one, but modified:
What if we do pick the furtherest most drej into the cave, and if there are lights in the cave we could put them out, cause an overloaded circuit, if the away team are wearing night goggles, they could zap or Taser gun a single drej, and snatch its weapon, at the same time, scorch the cave wall to make it look like the "shock" to the Drej, and to the lights out, came from something in the wall, and that way if the Drej are connected but it is still there, as for the missing weapon, it will either be noticed right away or not because its in pain. Hold that thought.
Secondly We could simply beam them all but a couple out to space at the same time, Sci I bet you are right about the Christmas light effect, the couple could be beamed to the interrogation area, the rest we photon torpedo.
Back to the 'hold that thought' if the Drej don't notice the weapon gone, give them a few minutes and us a few minutes, if they do notice it gone, again, all but a couple, then beam the rest out to space to photon torpedo.
Either way, we need the Titan and the Demon Hawk, we could send Reny and SST, but we chance them getting noticed, or not, but they could do a few minutes recon before we start either plan.
What are your thoughts?

I like the idea of a power overload, it would also provide a destraction and let Reny and the Ensigns infiltrate the group.
I know they are Drej, I know they are, as a species responsible for billions of deaths but the thought of beaming 2,500 sentient creature to their death is not something that sits well with me.
Would it be possible to beam them up but not complete the transport and hold their pattern in the buffer?
It might give us some leverage with the individual or individuals we interrogate. I think we are going to need to send scouts down either way. We don’t know a lot about Drej society but Drones and soldiers seem to have limited autonomy and intelligence. There may be one or more of the controller Drej, more like officers coordinating the action. That type of Drej is what we want to capture.
We need to identify the target so we are ready when the Yamatto and Demon Hawk arrive. And we may have to move sooner if the other shoe falls. The Drej must be holding those people for a reason.

We could hold them in a buffer pattern, I forgot about the Yamato, probably becasue I was hoping DH would take charge of it when he and it arrived.
Our ship tally is The Yamata, The Titan, The Demon Hawk, and ourselves with The Drifter.
I agree either way we are going to need the away team to scout the right drej, I hadn't thought that they might have a hierarchy structure, for holding hostages, but it makes sense, and it brings up a bigger issue, of if they are the soldiers, where is their ship, or their base? Whose orders are they following? and from where.
I agree, but for what reason would they be holding them? I am not as familiar with the drej as you and Sci are, but it seems out of character.

Comm Message Titan, please ensure all messages to us are encrypted, we are cloaked and wish to stay that way, your cover story for now is that you are on a first run to the Colonies, having taken over from another, and you are bringing supplies to the colonies, establish and maintain a regular orbit while sending regularly timed messages to the colonies, do not send anyone down to the surface, as there is drej radiation, we are waiting the arrival of two other ships, The Yamato, and The Demon Hawk, I don't know if the The Yamato can cloak or will or will not be cloaked, The Demon Hawk should be. Make sure that any and all talk of Solaris, The Drifter, The Yamato, The Demon Hawk and the Drej ceases, except in the secure room, it has a hidden door to it on the bridge, and a manual escape door in the hallway, we don't know why the drej are here, what they are now capable of, and as you are a simply a freighter, eaves dropping on the communications to that ship is possible. This room is scan proof, won't show on scans its true nature, and the only way in or out is with the password 'EsLaneZ' by saying that word the door will open and you'll see the entrance, take care, and we'll keep these encrypted comm's to what is absolutely necessary.
Who have you brought with you? Reply once, with any immediate concerns or questions and I'll reply promptly, after that we keep comm - silence, but do be prepared and review the transporter specs and its capabilities, you won't be given much notice when we may need them, or any other function.
Remember you are a freighter, on a normal run, so keep things as 'normal' for a freighter as possible, and act accordingly when you get no response form your hails to the surface.

Zachary, lets stay here, if they are going down, that means there will be less people on the ship, we might be needed here. I can understand you are angry, and hurting, but with emotions like that, it could put the others in danger, and the last thing I know you want is to have others hurt.

'A Comm Received' is sent to the Major.
Sharrel, did you hear that comm from the Major? Sci left before he heard it and Perrin in on that freighter, can you please tell him when he arrives in the Sick Bays.
I'm also on my way down there now.
Sarrin, please let me know when you pick up signals /comm's from The Yamato and The Demon Hawk.
As she heads down to the med bays, she has a pretty good idea, that its Charlotte and Rusty with Perrin.

She's right. But I do understand your desire to exact revenge for your parents Zachary. Lets put it this way, we are going to the Talusian Colonies to try and rescue those that were left behind in the mess that the Drej left behind. There was a lot of destruction. You saw it yourself. There are still people there that need our help. Maybe even people you know. Neighbors, friends, school buddies, even co-workers of your parents.
Those of us on Solaris Humanus are going to do whatever is necessary to help in all aspects of their recovery.

Sci, we just got a com from Gar, eh Lee? Voss? I really need to figure out what to call him.
He brought Joona and Perrin with him, I don’t know what he was thinking bring the lad into a military operation, although Perrin can be persuasive when he wants to be.
Perhaps it would be better to bring him over here?
Zachary, AMarie is right. Killing for vengeance is a dangerous road to travel, it is too easy to lose yourself on it.
